  • MINI BIBLE COLLEGE: New Testament Survey
    January 15 (continuous), Room 120
    Facilitators: Darrel Templeton and Loretta Rooker
    The Chapel’s Mini Bible College Sunday morning class meets at the 9:30 hour. EMBRACE Jesus and his community as he reveals himself through Scripture in New Testament letters of Paul. The Mini Bible College is a devotional and very practical survey of the Bible by Pastor and Teacher Dick Woodward. This study reviews the Bible’s main themes, its characters, and the lessons we all need for everyday living. It continues to impact thousands around the world. Whether you’re new to the Bible or are a seasoned student of God’s Word, we encourage you to join us any week as we explore 2 Corinthians, Galatians, and Ephesians. The class features Dick Woodward on video as he originally presented the study, followed by practical application and discussion. Come join us. Get into God’s Word and let God’s Word get into you. No pre-registration is required.

  • STRENGTHENING YOUR MARRIAGE: How Everyday Problems Can Strengthen Your Marriage
    January 15-February 19 (6 weeks), Room 122
    Facilitators: Phil and Barbara Elberfeld, Chris and Susan Swynford
    The big and little annoyances in your marriage are actually opportunities to deepen your love for each other. Your personal quirks and differences can actually help draw you together. Turn your marriage’s prickly issues into opportunities to love each other more as you learn how to build intimacy while respecting personal space. Tap into the power of a positive marraige attitude. Get an inside look at the very soul of your marriage, and how connecting with God can connect you to each other in ways you never dreamed.     This is an opportunity to EMBRACE Jesus and his community by participating in a small group study on Sunday mornings.   • JUST WALK ACROSS THE ROOM: Simple Steps Pointing People to Faith
    January 15-February 5 (4 weeks), Room 156
    Facilitator: Jeff Ammons
    Prepare yourself to ENGAGE in Christ’s mission to grow His community. Learn how to introduce others to Christ by venturing out of your comfort zone to show genuine interest in others and then start conversations about your faith that are rooted in friendship. This short, but practical series, incorporating 15-minute video clips, true stories, and personal “how it works for me” sharing by Chapel folks will be a great jump-start for putting the Chapel’s 2012 theme of “Reaching Out” into action.   • EVANGELISM IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
    January 15 (continuous), Room 120

    EMBRACE Jesus and His community in the study of Scripture passages and biblical stories that illustrate evangelism in the Old Testament. If you’re looking for a continuous class with weekly consistency and fellowship with folks who enjoy studying the Word together, you might want to try this class. New participants are enthusiastically welcomed. No pre-registration is required.

  • CONNECTIONS CLASS
    January 15 – February 12 (5 weeks), Room 118
    Facilitators: Margaret Bacon and Elizabeth Duncan
    If you are new to the Chapel or looking to get connected, this is a great way to ENCOUNTER Jesus alive in this community. Join us as we enjoy fellowship and open God’s Word in a casual setting. No pre-registration is required.

  • DISCOVER U: SERVING GOD’S WAY
    February 19 and 26 (2 weeks), Room 118
    Facilitator: Elizabeth Duncan
    EXERCISE your faith in Jesus by exploring your gifts, talents, and passions and how to apply them through acts of service. Join us for a two-week class where we will explore what the Bible says about serving and how God has wired you to serve. Each person has a gift to share with the Body, whether here at the Chapel, in the community or in the world. Come and learn together! No pre-registration is required.

Although this class is cancelled for winter quarter on Sunday mornings, Tim would be happy to talk with you about exciting possibilities for taking next steps globally or locally.

If you haven’t walked through the Bible before or recently, we encourage you to jump aboard at any time as we continue in the New Testament with 2 Corinthians, Galatians, and Ephesians. The class features Dick Woodward on video as he originally presented the study, followed by practical application and discussion. Get into God’s Word and let God’s Word get into you.
