  The First Letter of John helps us understand who God is – Light, Love, Life. This study will unpack John’s teaching on how to have a more perfect fellowship with God.

• Love and Respect | January 10 - March 28 (12 weeks) | Room 156 (room 128 for break-outs) | Facilitators: Chip and Kate Chuckney
  A wife has one driving need—to feel loved. A husband has one driving need—to feel respected. When either of these needs isn’t met, things get crazy! This study focuses on how love and respect drive a marriage—and how the lack of these qualities can destroy one. The class combines a video series conducted by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs based on his book, “Love and Respect”, with discussion led by Chip and Kate Chuckney.

• Mini Bible College (Old Testament Survey) | January 10 (continuous) | Room 120 | Facilitator/Discussion Leader: Rob Smith
  This foundational class features video Bible teaching by Dick Woodward, Pastor Emeritus and author of the Mini Bible College study series, followed by class discussion and practical application. Participants are welcome to join the survey study at any point.

SECOND HOUR (10:45-Noon)

• Bridges: Christians Connecting with Muslims | February 21 - March 28 (6 weeks) | Room 128 | Facilitators: Cheryl Griggs, Don and Cheryl Lundin.
  The class facilitators were part of the Josh McDowell team that attended training at the Arab-American Festival in Michigan last spring. This DVD-based study provides biblical teaching about Islam and Muslims by Fouad Masri, founder of the Crescent Project, which seeks to train and equip Christians to share the Hope with Muslims. The series features interviews with Muslims, real-life stories of former Muslims now following Jesus, and action steps for applying the material in relationships with Muslims. This study can reshape the way you view and respond to Muslims and help you see them as Jesus sees them.

• Deliver Us From Evil (Ravi Zacharias DVD Series) Restoring the Soul in a Disintegrating Culture | January 10 - March 28 (12 weeks) | Room 156 | Facilitators/Discussion Leaders: Clarke Morledge, Michael Pacella, David Thompson
  This DVD-based series is filled with eloquently told stories, historical references, and timeless truths that will open the eyes of the believer and seeker alike—poignantly relevant for today’s world. A team of facilitators will share leadership of stimulating discussion following Ravi’s DVD presentations.

• From Joseph to Jesus | January 10 (continuous) | Room 122 | Teacher: Michael Stump
  Learn from the life journeys of Joseph and other significant Old Testament characters in the book of Genesis—leading up to the birth of Jesus. This study combines verse-by-verse examination of scripture with relevant life-application for today.
