  • Christ in the Old Testament Old Testament Foundation for New Testament Gospel | September 12-October 31 (8 weeks) | Room 122
    Facilitator: Ken Petzinger
Is Jesus the Messiah? Jesus’ early disciples proclaimed Him to be the long-expected One who fulfilled God’s ancient promises to Israel. The precision of Old Testament prophecy is astounding, with scores of details involving Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, predicted by dozens of authors over almost one thousand years. We will work our way through the major Messianic passages, beginning in the books of Moses and continuing through the Psalms and the prophetic books, while correlating each with the testimony of New Testament authors. This study complements recent Chapel preaching on the gospel as foreshadowed in the Old Testament. No pre-registration is required.
