Apples of Gold

Upcoming Events:

Annual Picnic | Friday, May 14 | 11:00 a.m. | Play site at Governor’s Land
Join past Apples of Gold participants for a picnic reunion. Current Mentors will provide a salad luncheon at a play site in Governor’s Land. Participants’ children are invited to attend.

Apples of Gold is a six-week mentoring class that provides a way “for older women to nurture younger women in the Word of God, the Bible, and to encourage them to obey that Word” (derived from Titus 2:3-5). Seasoned women of God, together with younger women, seek the Lord’s direction in learning and applying the principles taught in Titus 2:3-5. In addition, the group is instructed in a variety of cooking and hospitality skills, culminating each week in a shared meal.

Would you enjoy a relaxed evening of being pampered while you learn from older women of faith how to better love your family, practice hospitality, learn some new cooking tips and create a home that reflects your love for God?

Apples of Gold is a small group mentoring experience based on the principles in Titus 2:3-5. The classes of 6-8 younger women and a similar number of mentors is held in a comfortable, relaxed home setting featuring cooking demonstrations, Bible study, fellowship, and eating, of course. Topics of study are kindness, loving your husband, loving your children, purity, submission, and hospitality.
