We all know that we need to stay strong to deal with the stresses and challenges of today’s world, but have we considered that there are many facets to staying strong? We must stay strong physically, and that may be what we think of first—we need to exercise, eat well, get enough rest—do Body & Soul! But staying strong goes beyond that—we must stay strong mentally, gaining knowledge, growing in wisdom, and developing understanding. We must stay strong emotionally too, surrounding ourselves with like-minded friends and family members who lift us up, hold us accountable and are there to laugh out loud with and to offer a shoulder to cry on. Finally, and most importantly, we need to stay strong spiritually, holding tight to our solid rock, our God, the one we can always count on. We need to talk to him in prayer, read his love letter to us, the Bible, and lift our hearts to him in worship.
