About Us:

Our high school ministry serves the Chapel’s 9th – 12th graders. The Ministry is led by Craig Blocher, High School Assistant.

Student Ministries leadership encourages parents and students to attend corporate worship together and then participate in their respective opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth on Sunday morning. Click here to learn about our Sunday morning schedule opportunities for high school students. During the school year, high school students gather on Sunday evenings to meet in small groups, a time of fun and fellowship. Call us (757-941-1571) or e-mail us to learn about Sundays during the upcoming school year.

As is true of the adult Chapel family, Small Groups are at the heart of the student Chapel family. Thanks to a devoted core of volunteers, Small Group participation among high school students is high, and provides the basis for some of the year’s most significant ministry. Many of the volunteers are graduates of the middle and high school ministries, clear evidence of the effectiveness of their discipleship emphasis. Equally vital is the leadership college students and other adults provid on a volunteer basis.

In the fall, weekend retreats allow students and leaders to establish discipleship relationships. In the winter, ski trips give life to the fingerprint of evangelism. In the spring, various projects give students first hand service experience. In the summer, mission trips allow students to experience local and global missions.
