Members of the prayer team are available to pray with you on Sunday mornings at the front of the Worship Room following the services. The Prayer Team also meets each Monday morning to pray for requests submitted by the Chapel family.

Prayer actively upholds all of the Chapel’s ministries. At the heart of the Prayer Ministry is the conviction that prayer is not merely one ministry among many, but must be “the driving non-negotiable force behind everything we do.”

The Prayer Ministry exists to help make the Chapel a house of prayer (Matthew 21:12-14, Luke 19:45-48). The primary focus of the Prayer Ministry is the spiritual life of Williamsburg Community Chapel. Its participants seek God’s heart and will for the needs for which they pray.

The Prayer Chain and the Intercessory Prayer Group form the core of the Prayer Ministry. The Prayer Chain faithfully prays for the needs of the Chapel and individuals connected to the Chapel. The Intercessory Prayer Group prays each Monday for the needs of the Chapel family, the community, the nation, and the world. This group prays especially for specific prayer requests submitted on Sunday morning and during the week.
