Members of the prayer team are available to pray with you on Sunday mornings at the front of the Worship Room following the services. The Prayer Team also meets each Monday morning to pray for requests submitted by the Chapel family.

Prayer actively upholds all of the Chapel’s ministries. At the heart of the Prayer Ministry is the conviction that prayer is not merely one ministry among many, but must be “the driving non-negotiable force behind everything we do.”

The Prayer Ministry exists to help make the Chapel a house of prayer (Matthew 21:12-14, Luke 19:45-48). The focus of the Prayer Ministry Team is the spiritual life of Williamsburg Community Chapel and the building of Christ’s Kingdom in our community and the world. As we bring our praises and requests to God, we ask that He bring our hearts and minds in line with Him.

The Sunday Morning Prayer Team and the Intercessory Prayer Group form the core of the Prayer Ministry. The Sunday Morning Prayer Team prays one-on-one with those that come for prayer following both services. The Intercessory Prayer Group prays each Monday for the needs of the Chapel family, the community, the nation, and the world. This group prays especially for specific prayer requests submitted on Sunday morning and during the week.
