Greeters, Ushers, & Guest Center

The Greeter, Usher, and Welcome Center ministries work hand-in-hand to help ensure that everyone’s experience at the Chapel is a good one. They particularly strive to make first time visitors feel at home. Their ministry is vital not only on Sunday morning, but also during special events like the Christmas concert, Christmas Eve and Good Friday services, Chapel Forum, and any other events heavily attended by visitors from the community.

If you enjoy people and attend the Chapel regularly, we need you! We are looking for friendly folks to welcome and direct our guests as they enter the church. Please contact Director of Volunteer Services, Elizabeth Duncan at 229-7152 or click here to email Elizabeth.

Greeter Ministry

Greeters strive to welcome everyone warmly, assist newcomers, and answer questions. They man every Chapel door on Sunday mornings and are especially instrumental in welcoming members of the community to our Christmas concerts and other special events.

Usher Ministry

Ushers welcome guests to the sanctuary, distribute the Weekly bulletin, and guide worshipers to their seats. They also collect the offering, pass the communion elements, respond to emergency situations, and straighten the sanctuary between services.

Welcome Center Ministry

Volunteers at the Welcome Center are available to greet our guests, give directions, and introduce visitors needing additional help or information to other members of the Hospitality Team for further assistance.
