Each fall, the Williamsburg Williamsburg Men’s Breakfast sponsors a community golf tournament to raise money for a local outreach organization. The Golf Tournament is named in honor of Dick Woodward, Pastor Emeritus of Williamsburg Community Chapel, and founder of the weekly Men’s Fellowship Breakfasts. Today 350 men attend the Men’s Fellowship Breakfasts - 225 on Thursday mornings in Newport News at the Crown Point Plaza on J. Clyde Morris Blvd., and 125 on Friday mornings in Williamsburg at the Ford’s Colony Country Club.

All proceeds from the Dick Woodward Golf Tournament go to benefit the Grove Christian Outreach Center and the Lackey Free Family Medicine Center. Last year, the tournament raised more than $17,000 for these charities.
