Ministry to Our Military
Praising God and Praying for Our Military
- Steve Murphy - has returned home safely
- Brennan Howell - has returned home safely
- Pat Hagginbothom - pray for her during her deployment to Afghanistan
Please consider one of these opportunities to demonstrate Christ’s love to these members of our military:
- Meet with Reservists at the Chapel or their hotel
- Provide Bible study fellowship once or weekly
- Organize refreshments for Bible studies or farewell
- “Adopt” a reservist to host for a holiday meal
- Correspond with a Reservist for the duration of his/her deployment
The vision of the Chapel Ministry to Our Military is to affirm and support our military congregants and their families and to attract military members and their families in greater numbers to the body of Christ.
Ministry to Our Military unites the needs of our military members and their families with the desires of others to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ. We seek to educate the congregation about the needs of their military; welcome and embrace military members and families as they transition to the area; build discipling and mentoring relationships; provide practical help for the families of members who are deployed; and foster networks, and partnerships among our various chapel ministries (Crown, Small Groups, Stephen Ministers, etc.) that are postured to assist military families.
Let us know how we can be of service: If you are in the military or have a family member or friend in the military, please fill out our information form to let us know how our ministry can provide support.
