Job Transition Support Group

Weekly Meeting of Job Transition Support Group:

Wednesday, 7-8 a.m. | NEW LOCATION: Community Cafe (Use Door West 1)

This is a Chapel ministry for those in job transition or who are thinking about changing jobs. The group has been in existence since February 5, 2003 and is the first of its kind in this area. Several “graduates” of the group are now employed in fulfilling jobs where God is using them on a regular basis.

During a typical meeting, each person has an opportunity to share what has happened in the last week and what is planned for the upcoming week. During this time others will offer helpful suggestions based on their experiences. We pray, eat breakfast (optional), and then review a scripture lesson. We study topics such as grief, waiting, how God speaks, when God is silent, comfort, perseverance, seeking God, life’s trials, weakness, strength, endurance, and more. Each lesson contains topical scripture references related specifically to job transition or trials in our lives.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
