Faith spent her early years in the San Fernando Valley of southern California where she attended CSUN, married, and raised her family. She and her husband, Jack, were active in youth and student ministry there for many years. In 1982, the family moved to Williamsburg and began attending the Chapel the following year.

After several years of widowhood, Faith married Hal Olson in June 2009. Together they now have a total of 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.

Faith has been involved in the missions ministry of the Chapel as committee member, chair, and deacon for over 20 years and joined the staff in February 2007 as Director of Missions. She is currently serving as Interim Minister of Global and Local Missions.
