In the midst of our chaotic and ever-changing world, God has been working faithfully and steadily in our midst to draw more and more people to Himself. Even as our material storehouses have suffered, our eternal storehouses have prospered.
This past year has made an incredible difference in our church family:
- the Truth of Jesus shared with more than 4000 on Easter and 8000 during the Christmas season
- more than 75 public professions of faith
- 400 new Sunday worshipers
As we approached Palm Sunday 2009—our celebration of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem and the one-year anniversary of our own “triumphal entry” into the new Worship Room—we continued to share some of the stories behind the stats and put faces to the numbers through videos each Sunday morning.

On March 22, 2009, six Chinese students took the next step on their spiritual journeys through baptism. The lives of these students were impacted this past year by the ministry of Eddie and Grace Liu to Chinese students in our community.
